Living a creative and sustainable life is important to me. I love making things by hand and value quality over quantity. For me, sewing is a form of meditation; the act of creation transports me to a peaceful state, providing a remedy for the chaos of modern life. I am passionate about working with textiles and utilise recycled fabrics whenever possible. My aim is to find harmony in life and with my surroundings. A reverence for the natural world informs my art practice, which is influenced by its beauty and the interconnectedness of life.

I was born in northern New South Wales and hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Tasmania. In addition to participating in numerous artist exhibitions, I have diverse experience that ranges from working in a museum to facilitating workshops.
