The “Design Wilds” exhibition @ Gallery Lane, Coolum features imagery inspired by local wildflowers. Artists including myself participated in workshops and wildflower walks as part of a Design Lab 2026 at UniSC.

Curated by Dr Sue Davis, Dr Marni Stuart and Dr Lisa Chandler, the designs are repeat patterns so they can be repurposed as prints on posters, fabrics, clothing and accessories. We hope that by being surrounded by wildflowers in our daily lives, we might raise awareness so that we seek to protect them.

Thank you to the editor, Dorothee Crane for her feature article about my work in the German textile magazine Patchwork Professional (04/2026 edition).

The goal of the Patchwork Professional magazine is to "provide readers with in-depth information about the diverse textile art sector, but also to inspire them and encourage experimentation.

So grateful to be selected to participate in the Wildflowering Design Lab 2026. An opportunity to connect with fellow artists and celebrate the wildflowers of the Sunshine Coast.

Thank you to Flying Arts Alliance, for inviting me to exhibit Shifting Sands, Maroochy River in their “In Motion” exhibition running from 2 to 22 February, 2026

Hand Stitching Course: The Joy of the Process

Join me for a series of slow stitch workshops. These relaxed and creative sessions encourage you to slow down and appreciate the joy of the process rather than striving towards an outcome and perfection. The slow and repetitive nature of hand stitching helps you stay present, fostering mindfulness and promoting relaxation. I will support you on your creative journey as you explore various embroidery stitches. These workshops are suitable for both beginners and those with some prior knowledge of hand stitching. This is a wonderful opportunity to unwind, enjoy relaxing herbal tea, and connect with others in a peaceful and supportive environment. The workshop series consists of two consecutive sessions, held at the same time each week:
